Grade II listed glasshouse, restored in 2001 through a local campaign in partnership with Liverpool City Council. The Trust manages Sefton Park Palm House as a visitor attraction, ensuring it is well maintained and an interesting place to visit. The building contains an array of plants from all over the world, creating an unusual and exotic atmosphere. Around the perimeter of the building are 8 statues of naturalists and explorers. The Trust raises all its own income through venue hire for prestigious events such as weddings, parties and corporate celebrations. This incomes contributes towards the upkeep of the building and the presentation of over 50 events throughout the year. Most of these are free and examples include Sunday afternoon concerts, ticketed evening concerts with an eclectic mix of the best performers and musicians, family fun days and activities for young children.
