If you are thinking about setting up a Social Enterprise, this is the workshop for you!
Delegates will explore different models of Social Enterprise and how they are run on a day to day basis. You will also learn the importance of being clear about the demand for the products or services you plan to deliver and how it is essential to have your strategy in place before deciding upon the legal structure within which to operate.
By the end of the day, you will have a good basic understanding of the preparation required to provide you with the best chance of success and some top tips and advice on things to avoid before embarking on your journey.
The workshop will cover:
- The idea for your enterprise and how to gauge its feasibility
- Setting a clear strategy – function before form!
- Identifying stakeholders – those who can help you sink or swim
- Legal Structures – the basics and how to find out more
- Operating within the law and keeping track of new legislation
- Refreshments & light lunch will be provided
- Map/directions to venue will be sent to delegates
- Delegates will receive certificates confirming course completion
