The first NatWest SE100 Insight Event of 2016, and the launch of the SE100 Social Business Club.
The NatWest SE100 Social Business Club aims to support leaders and managers of social ventures across the UK to learn, network and thrive together. Thanks to ongoing support from NatWest Community and Social Enterprise, we will be delivering a series of free seminars around the UK, starting with this first event in London on 23rd March.
SE100 Insight events bring together best practice from social ventures and brilliant advice from experts on all aspects of launching, running and growing a social enterprise. The events are also a fantastic opportunity to share learning and stories with your peers.
The day will include sessions on:
- How to solve a problem like people: pitfalls and how to avoid them in HR and people management
- Making your bank manager your best friend
- Choosing the right advice (and who to give it to you)
- Getting an effective board
- Storytelling with impact: using your impact to win new business
- Legal structures for social enterprise
- Pitching and business plans
Speakers include:
- SE100 Storyteller Award winners Andrew Hunt from Aduna and Diane Parkes from John Taylor Hospice
- Social impact guru Verity Timmins from three times SE100 Award winner FRC Group
- Experts from accountants Buzzacott, lawyers Russell Cooke and bankers NatWest
The day will be followed by networking and drinks.
