Social Impact Statements
  • Paddington Development Trust (PDT) was formed by local residents in 1997 after years of political conflict and associated social and economic decline. Over the past twelve years PDT has acted as a catalyst to innovationary change in four of the poorest wards in London encompassing a population of 60,000 people who make up the peripheral but vital presence of Paddington in the North of the City of Westminster. The PDT Board„-s mission is to facilitate positive change and to create conditions in which the population as a whole can access opportunities leading to social, cultural and economic independence.

    Social Impact Statements

The Social Enterprise Mark criteria includes a requirement that the applicant can demonstrate that social and/or environmental objectives are being achieved.

In support of this, new applicants and renewing Mark holders must submit Social Impact Statements that summarise their headline activities and achievements, helping show how they are striving to make a difference and stand up to scrutiny of purpose as a social enterprise.

    Updated July 2016

An annual report has been provided, illustrating Paddington’s areas of social impact, and the organisation has chosen not to summarise their headline activities and achievements.
