The Manufacturing Institute was established to professionalise the UK’s manufacturing sector and attract more talent into the industry through education, training and onsite support.
We provide high-impact training, consultancy services and events to inspire manufacturing professionals and organisations of all sizes to be the very best.
As a small team of passionate experts, we help manufacturers successfully overcome challenges and thrive. We’ve been around for over a quarter of a century, and in that time we’ve supported some of the largest global organisations and even become the first European-licensed affiliate of the Shingo Institute. Now let us help you.
The Manufacturing Institute is a subsidiary of The Growth Company.

Social Impact Statements
The Social Enterprise Mark criteria includes a requirement that the applicant can demonstrate that social and/or environmental objectives are being achieved.
In support of this, new applicants and renewing Mark holders are asked to respond to a set of social impact questions, which are designed to help them think about the social impact they create, and to articulate this clearly and succinctly.
