  • We pride ourselves on an ability to create bespoke services that cater to the needs of communities and investors. Our focus has always been on quality of delivery.

    Alongside our quality values, we are excellent at delivering contracts to target and time. We have spent the last 7 years working hard at developing our roots and contacts with local communities, often deemed as difficult or hard to reach, to ensure smooth initiation of service delivery.

    Social Impact Statements

    The Social Enterprise Mark criteria includes a requirement that the applicant can demonstrate that social and/or environmental objectives are being achieved.

    In support of this, new applicants and renewing Mark holders must submit Social Impact Statements that summarise their headline activities and achievements, helping show how they are striving to make a difference and stand up to scrutiny of purpose as a social enterprise.

    1) Providing health and wellbeing services

    Health Exchange CIC provide positive health and wellbeing services to a range of individual, including some from the most disadvantaged groups in society right the way up to business trying to improve the health, wellbeing and resilience of their staff.

    Over any one year our teams work with over 28,000 people, across the West Midlands and nationally, providing critical services that support individuals, impacting on preventable diseases, providing motivational behaviour change and providing comprehensive self-management support programmes for those that already have long term conditions.

    As part of our ‘Prevent’ series of services Health Exchange is a trailblazer organisation and is one of only 5 NHS England funded CCG Vanguard organisations across the United Kingdom. In this provision, Health Exchange provides independently evaluated pre-diabetes support to individuals at risk of developing Type 2 Diabetes.


    2) Supporting the local economy

    Health Exchange CIC supports and builds the local economy across key areas in the West Midlands by providing opportunities for volunteering, structured internships and meaningful local jobs for local people with accredited training and appropriate skills that enable them to grow and develop and flourish across a range of health and wellbeing services.


    3) Providing accessible services

    Health Exchange CIC believe very strongly that there is ‘no wrong door’ with regards to accessing the right service for groups and individuals. To this end our staff speak over 15 different community languages and have a range of skills that enable this.

    Our various programmes include;

    • Community Navigators
    • Feel Good wellbeing response service
    • Wellbeing Walks provision

    Through operating these across the City of Birmingham and the wider West Midlands are, we provide excellent mental health and wellbeing outcome support to individuals, groups & students, innovative non-clinical response to need that enables the reduction of levels of stress and anxiety, increased energy and reduced social isolation.
