Reporting on Social Value – Good News, Fake News, and the need for Social Audit!
SAN is holding two mini-conferences in one…
…a morning focussing on accounting for social, environmental and economic impacts with keynote speech, practical exercises and case study examples; and an afternoon focussing on the process and practicalities of social audit.
Come to either the morning or the afternoon – or come for the whole day to take part in the full debate!
Morning event: Good news or fake news
Aimed at everyone, no prior knowledge of SAA required, but targeting people who would like to use social accounting in their own organisation to account for their outputs and outcomes.
Keynote speaker – Neil McInroy (Centre for Local Economic Strategies)
Afternoon event: The need for audit
A much more detailed look at social audit, qualifying as the Social Auditors’ CPD, but also exploring practice around audit and assurance. Including use of tools for self-assessment.
Richard Cobbett from Social Enterprise Mark CIC will join an audit and assurance expert panel, to talk about different methodologies for auditing and assurance.
