Our 2018 conference will be held at York St John University on 6th and 7th June.
With the world’s richest 1% now controlling over 80% of the wealth, there is clearly an unacceptable level of inequality in our society. This conference will challenge participants to consider how we can build a fairer society with social enterprise, using examples from across a range of sectors to stimulate discussions.
The programme is taking shape and we are excited to have secured a number of interesting speakers across the two days, including former Minister for Health Phil Hope, founder of Partners for Possibility (South Africa) Louise van Rhyn, leader of The World Fair Trade Organization and former Head of Future Business Initiative of Oxfam Erinch Sahan, and Nigel Kershaw of The Big Issue Group.
Check out videos below of our keynote speakers
The conference will kick off at 4pm on 6th June for an afternoon of celebration, including our annual awards reception, followed by a BBQ dinner. 7th June will be a full day programme (9.30am – 3pm) , with a range of keynote sessions and workshops.
