Welcome to our first in-person networking event of 2022 – a timely gathering of women in enterprise and leadership across Plymouth & Devon!

We, Social Enterprise Mark CIC and Millfields Trust, are delighted to co-host this women-led networking event as we celebrate International Women’s Day 2022.

You will be hosted at the brilliant Millfields Trust, a social enterprise that was set up in 1999 to help regenerate the Stonehouse area of Plymouth and now providing flexible, high quality office and co-working space across 4 sites. Social Enterprise Mark CIC, the national accreditation body for social enterprises now celebrating its 12th year, is a keen supporter of the Millfields Trust space and their advocacy across city and the social enterprise sector.

This shared event is open to women across the Plymouth locality who would like to join us for coffee and cake, some shared conversations and new connections.

Our IWD2022 speaker

Jenny Evans is an award winning young entrepreneur and artist. She studied textiles at Cardiff Metropolitan University, has won Santander’s University Entrepreneur’s national competition in 2017, and went on to set up a high growth, investor backed business in 2018 after raising a seed round of £350,000. Jenny was also the UK Policy Chair for Young Entrepreneurs for the FSB, lobbying central government for changes in the law to support other young entrepreneurs.

Now Jenny works at YTKO, as part of their fully funded (free!) Outset programme, helping other start-ups and entrepreneurs succeed and follow their passions!
